About the event
Goals: Officers will be able to determine breaching tool selection by assessing door/building construction. Officers will then be able to breach the door using one of the following breaching tools: Halligan, Sledgehammer, Battering Ram, T1, Bolt Cutters, “universal keys” and other Holmatro hydraulic tools.
Objectives: Officers will learn how to quickly examine construction to determine which tools and techniques are appropriate. Through lecture, PPT presentation, video, demonstration and hands on application, officers will be able to breach various door options.
Attendees will each have an opportunity to breach an actual door during this training. Training Requirements & Options:
